Hazards of Driving on Outback Roads
Last modified: September 23, 2009 - 7:17 PM
Travelling on outback roads can be hazardous.
One of the biggest hazards to people travelling on outback roads is stock. Kangaroos, emus, cattle and sheep etc are a constant source of danger whilst travelling outback. If you are not used to travelling on unsealed roads, please slow down and drive carefully. Rough surfaces, bulldust and loose gravel are also hazardous if driving at speed.
