Water Restrictions
Bourke Shire Council advises that Level 2 water restrictions will commence on Friday 20th November 2009.
Level 2 Water Restrictions include:
• Maximum of one sprinkler tap per household, for maximum of one hour per day between 7am & 8am or 7pm & 8pm
• No filling of private swimming pools
• Washing of motor vehicles, paved areas and roofs with pressure cleaner and/or buckets only
No restrictions on internal household use or evaporative air conditioners.
These restrictions are in accordance with Bourke’s Drought Management Plan.
