The sites for these sentinel flocks are Bourke, Wanaaring and Fords Bridge. These sentinel chickens are bleed weekly and the blood tested for disease. Mosquito's are also trapped alive at various locations and sent for analysis. The results and more information on chicken bleeding and mosquito trapping are available on the NSW Health web site, at http://www.arbovirus.health.nsw.gov.au.
